The
Pumping Unit mounts over the wellhead and can be tracked back
to accommodate
a workover rig.
Main components:
Hydraulic Cylinder
Provides the lifting force. 1800 psi is the maximum designed pressure.
Pulley System
Transmits the lifting force to the rod string by wire line hanger.
Gas Reservoir - (Nitrogen)
Acts as a counterweight and has no inertia.
Typical applications: Deep wells,
deviated wells, large fluid loads. Wells that are steamed requiring variable
flow. Long stroke minimizes cycling, resulting in longer surface and downhole
equipment life. |
